Sonic Legends - Season 1 Episode 4

Green Hills

It was another day in Green Hills. Sonic was up and ready to see what today would bring. He gathered his rings and went off for a run. But first, he was obliged to tell his mom.

"Mom! I'm just taking a run across the island."

"Okay Sonic! Be careful out there!" Aleena said.

"Be back in a flash!" Sonic exclaimed excitedly.

And there Sonic went. He dashed around loops and bounced from step to step. Tails the fox was watching him from some distance away.

"Wow! He's fast! Crazy fast!" Tails said to himself. When Tails turned round, he saw the Tornado parked up. He realised that the propeller was broken so he picked up some tools and put in his best effort to fix it.

When Sonic got back, he noticed Tails near his plane. He quickly dashed over as he was suspicious...

"Hey! Hands off!" Sonic shouted.

"All fixed!" Tails said happily.

"Huh?"

"The propeller was broken. It's okay, I fixed it."

"Well, thanks... I guess. Could you leave now?"

Tails was upset that Sonic told him to leave. When he saw Sonic running, he was amazed by his remarkable speed. All Tails wanted to do was help. Tails turned around sadly, and walked away. But when he turned his head back, he saw that Sonic was gone already. Tails waited around behind some bushes to see if he could spot Sonic pass by.

Prison Island

Meanwhile, Fang had left Sunset Park and was approaching Death Egg. When he got there, Sleet and Dingo were stood at the entrance guarding.

Sleet said, "What do you want?"

Fang replied, "I want to see your boss..."

"You can't come in."

"It is an important matter."

"I said you can't come in!"

Sleet brought out one of Robotnik's weapons as he was going to eliminate Fang...

"Stop! I have the chaos emerald!!" Fang yelled.

Sleet put his weaponry away and stopped. He looked at Dingo for a second and thought about it.

"Come in." he said.

Fang walked into the main department and saw Shadow lurking down there. He stared awkwardly and then continued walking. He made his way into a lift, and headed for the top floor. Robotnik was informed that somebody was coming and so he opened his door.

"What do you want?!" he asked.

"Golden rings! Lots of golden rings!" Fang exclaimed.

"I only do a deal when I know I benefit from it. What has this pathetic creature got for me?" Robotnik asked.

"I have a special gem..."

"A special gem... What would that be?"

Fang pulled out the chaos emerald and held it out to Robotnik.

"The chaos emerald! But how did you find that?" he asked.

"That blue hedgehog... the naive child gave it to me..."

"Blue hedgehog? But how did you convice him?"

"I said I'd give him ten rings. He gave me the chaos emerald first, and I escaped and left him with nothing... except for a broken plane!" Fang laughed.

"Well, that is pretty impressive. So how many rings do you want for this emerald?"

"One-thousand!"

"One-thousand?!!! No way, rip off! I'm not doing four digits!"

"Nine-hundred and ninety-nine?"

"It's a deal!"

Fang gave over the chaos emerald and Robotnik gave him the due amount of rings in return. Then Fang turned around after he got what he wanted.

"Wait!" Robotnik called.

"Hmm?"

"There's something else I want to discuss."

"And what would that be?" Fang asked.

"What you did to get the chaos emerald impressed me a lot. I think you're worthy enough to be an ally of me."

"Why would I do that now that I've got what I want?"

"Because... You can get MORE RINGS!"

Fang gasped and dashed back.

"You say I'm worthy enough to collaborate with a legendary Dr like yourself?! And you'll pay me for it?"

"Yes. As long as you will do anything to stop the ones who try to get in my way."

"Of course doc. I am fully prepared to work for you. Oh, and there is something you might want to know. That blue hedgehog has saved majority of the animals throughout Green Hills and Chemical Plant. He's trying to end your scheme!"

"Then he will pay for it with his useless life!" Robotnik exclaimed.

While Robotnik and Fang were making their deals, Shadow was trying to redeem himself and prove to Maria that he didn't intend for Gerald to die.

"Why would you attack a guy who is on his deathbed? Are you crazy?!" Maria yelled.

"Maria, it was a mistake. Don't you know that I regret it? But the things he said about you bother me more than his death bothers you. Listen Maria, I promise I won't harm you or anyone in your family ever again. From now on, I will be doing you all favours." Shadow said.

"Oh dim Shadow. So what will you do now?" she asked.

"I will help Dr. Robotnik."

Shadow got up and began to skate away. Maria got up and tried to stop him from leaving.

"Shadow!" She yelled.

Maria put her head in her hands.

"Oh Shadow. Why don't you know right from wrong?" she asked herself.

Shadow made his way down to the main department. There, he saw Robotnik and Fang also making there way down. Shadow looked at Fang and wondered.

"What is a scrawny little rat doing in this damn place?" he thought to himself.

Robotnik saw that Shadow was coming down.

"What is he doing?" he whispered.
